Dr. Barnhill attended the Georgia Institute of Technology for his undergraduate degree. He graduated from Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Dr. Barnhill finished his internship at USAF Medical Center Keesler, Keesler AFB where he also completed his residency. Dr. Barnhill did his fellowship in cardiology at Vanderbilt University in Nashville Tennessee. Among his experiences, Dr. Barnhill was Chief of Cardiology, Medical Director, Coronary Care Unit Chairperson, and Critical Care Committee Medical Director at USAF Medical Center Wright – Patterson AFB in Ohio as well as Chief of Cardiology at Carswell AFB, Texas.

Dr. Barnhill is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of Gwinnett-Forsyth County Medical Society, as well as the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Barnhill is affiliated with the American Heart Association serving as an instructor in advanced cardiac life support. Dr. Barnhill is board certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine in the Subspecialty of Cardiovascular Diseases and Nuclear Cardiology.

Demir Baykal, M.D., F.A.C.C.

Dr. Demir Baykal is a well-respected board certified cardiologist specializing in nuclear cardiology, cardiac catheterization, and trans-esophageal echocardiography and pacemaker intervention. Dr. Baykal also provides general cardiac care for patients pre- and post-operatively, as well as pacemaker and healthy heart maintenance.

Dr. Baykal attended Istanbul University, Istanbul Medical School in Istanbul, Turkey, where he was an Assistant Instructor in Internal Medicine. Dr. Baykal completed his Internship, Residency and Fellowship at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Baykal is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and is board certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Education Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates. Among his experiences, Dr. Baykal was an Assistant Professor at Marmara Heart Center, Maltepe University Medical School Istanbul, Turkey, and a Fellow of Interventional Cardiology at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was a Visiting Research Fellow in the Division of Gastroenterology at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, and a Visiting Senior Medical Student at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Baykal did post-graduate public service at Gokceada Health Center in Canakkale, Turkey, as a Medical Co-Director and an Emergency Room Physician in Ankara Numune Hospital in Ankara, Turkey. Dr. Baykal was within the top 10 in National Board Exams among 5,000 physicians, and within the 99th percentile in ACP in Training Examination in Internal Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.

Sean E. F. Delaney, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.S.C.A.I.

Dr. Sean Delaney is a board certified cardiologist specializing in nuclear cardiology, cardiac catheterization, and coronary and peripheral interventions. Dr. Delaney also provides general cardiac care for patients pre- and post-operatively, as well as healthy heart maintenance.

Dr. Delaney attended Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine in London, England, where he obtained a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. Dr. Delaney performed his internship as a House Surgeon at Lister Hospital in Herts, England, as well as at Royal Free Hospital. Dr. Delaney completed his residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He finished his medical training and fellowship in cardiology at Texas Heart Institute, St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Delaney has taken qualifying examinations and is certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Among his experiences, Dr. Delaney served as Chief of Interventional Cardiology Fellow, and was a Fellow in Adult Cardiology at the Texas Heart Institute of St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital in Houston.

Khalid J. Hayat, M.D.
Dr. Khalid Hayat is a board certified cardiologist specializing in nuclear cardiac imaging, cardiac catheterization, and trans-esophageal echocardiography, temporary transvenous pacemaker intervention and electrophysiology. Dr. Hayat also provides general cardiac care for patients pre- and post-operatively, as well as pacemaker and healthy heart maintenance. Dr. Hayat’s area of interest is implantation of ICD and C.R.T. (Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy) as well as catheter – based ablation of various cardiac arrhythmias.

Dr. Hayat attended King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his residency at S.U.N.Y. at Buffalo, New York, where he later served as chief resident of Internal Medicine. Dr. Hayat did his fellowship in cardiology at West Virginia University. He recently finished his fellowship in Electrophysiology at the University Of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Dr. Hayat is a member of the American College of Cardiology, as well as the American College of Physicians. Dr. Hayat is also a member of the American Heart Association and the American Medical Association. Dr. Hayat is board certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiology. He has worked in the fields of Medicine, Surgery, and Emergency Medicine in the United Kingdom and the United States as well as in his home country, Pakistan.

David A. Lantz, M.D., F.A.C.C. 


Dr. David Lantz is a well-respected board certified cardiologist specializing in nuclear cardiology, cardiac catheterization, trans-esophageal echocardiography, pacemaker intervention, and invasive, non-interventional cardiology. Dr. Lantz also provides general cardiac care for patients pre- and post-operatively, as well as healthy heart and pacemaker maintenance.

Dr. Lantz attended the Georgia Institute of Technology for his undergraduate degree, earning a degree in applied physics. He graduated from Emory University School of Medicine. He trained as a resident in internal medicine at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, where he also completed his fellowship training in cardiovascular diseases. Dr. Lantz achieved the rank of Colonel DOR in the Air Force and retired from active duty in 2000.

Among his experiences, Dr. Lantz was Chief of Cardiology for the 74th Medical Group, Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, Consultant to the Air Force Surgeon General for Cardiology, Chief of Cardiology Services David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base, California, and Chief of Internal Medicine at both Lakenheath USAF Hospital in England and USAF Hospital Biburg, West Germany.

Dr. Lantz is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, as well as the American College of Physicians. He is board certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine in the Subspecialty of Cardiovascular Disease. Dr. Lantz is the recipient of awards for Teacher of the Year and Family Practice Teacher of the Year for the Department of Medicine, David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base in California.

Corinne F. Quinn, M.D., F.A.C.C.

Dr. Corinne Quinn is a highly regarded board certified cardiologist who established Gwinnett Consultants in Cardiology. She specializes in cardiac catheterization, coronary interventions and preventional cardiology. Dr. Quinn also provides general cardiac care for patients pre- and post-operatively, as well as healthy heart maintenance.

Dr. Quinn graduated cum laude from Creighton University School of Medicine. She trained as an intern and resident in internal medicine at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Quinn completed her fellowship training in cardiology at Emory University.

Dr. Quinn is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, as well as the American College of Physicians. Nationally she is a member of the American Heart Association, Clinical Cardiology Council and Radiology Council. Locally, Dr. Quinn is a member of the Georgia Heart Association, Medical Association of Georgia, Gwinnett-Forsyth Medical Society and a Delegate to the Medical Association of Georgia Convention in 1985. Dr. Quinn is certified through the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Internal Medicine for cardiology and interventional cardiology. She was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, as well as the League of Women Voters of Gwinnett County. She was an honoree for Gwinnett’s Exceptional Women Leaders in 1995.

Dr. Videlefsky attended the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. Dr. Videlefsky performed his internship at Johannesberg Hospital and Baragwanath Hospital in Johannesberg, South Africa. He completed his residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, where he was chief resident of Internal Medicine. Dr. Videlefsky did his fellowship in cardiology at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, with his second year being dedicated to nuclear medicine.

Dr. Videlefsky is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of Gwinnett-Forsyth County Medical Society, and the American Medical Association. Dr. Videlefsky is board certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine and Education Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates. Dr. Videlefsky was awarded the Stanley H. Shensa Award in 1991 by Mt. Sinai Department of Medicine for “Distinguished Achievements as a Medical House Office and Outstanding Contribution to the Advancement of the Medical Residency Program.”
