MEDICAL
ASSISTANT
Full-time clinical
medical assistant needed for fast paced cardiology practice. Minimum
one-year medical assistant experience preferred. Must be
self-motivated, detail oriented and a team player. Excellent benefits
and competitive wages. Some travel required.
Requirements – Maintains
CPR certification.
Education and/or
Experience - High
School Diploma, some college preferred. Courses in medical specialty –
e.g., Cardiology. Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in direct
patient care setting. A thorough understanding and working knowledge of
patient confidentiality issues and HIPAA compliance/regulations is
essential.
Certification - Certified
Medical Assistant preferred
Special Skills - CPR,
EKG, and blood pressure skills; Basic computer knowledge; Communication
skills.
